Intro Woodworking: Hand Tools

About this class

San Diego Craft Collective's intro woodworking class covers the hand tools that matter most for getting started: marking gauge, chisels, hand saw, mallet, and plane. The instructor covers how to hold and control each tool, how to work with grain rather than against it, and how to make accurate layout marks before you start cutting. The Liberty Station workshop space is equipped well enough that you do not need to own any tools to do real work.
