The Chopping Block runs an evening cocktail class that covers five foundational drinks including an Old Fashioned, a Daiquiri, a Whiskey Sour, a Gimlet, and a Negroni, with the instructor explaining the balance principles behind each so you understand how to adjust a recipe to your taste. The session covers shaking, stirring, straining, and the basic bar tools you need at home, and you drink every cocktail you make over the course of the evening. No prior bartending experience is needed.
