Intro to Lead Climbing (2-Session Course)

About this class

Lead climbing is how you climb routes without a top rope pre-set, clipping protection as you move up the wall. This two-session course, five hours total, covers the mechanics of lead climbing, how to fall safely, clipping technique, and the partner communication that makes lead climbing work safely. This is a multi-session course with two sessions of 2.5 hours each; you need to be comfortable on rope already before starting.
