Candle Making Workshop

About this class

Soy wax candles are genuinely easy to make once you understand the two variables that matter most: wax temperature (pour too hot and you get sink holes; pour too cold and the scent doesn't bind) and fragrance load (the percentage by weight that produces a strong throw without icing). In this 90-minute hands-on class, you'll pour two candles in your choice of vessel (pillar jar, amber glass, or concrete cup) blend your own scent from fragrance oils, and set your wick at the right depth. Your instructor stays close to help you troubleshoot and teaches you what to do if your first batch comes out wrong. Both candles are yours to take home. All wax, fragrance oils, wicks, and vessels provided.
