Lillstreet's metalsmithing studio offers beginner jewelry workshops where you learn to cut, file, shape, and solder a sterling silver ring from flat sheet stock using jeweler's hand tools and a torch, resulting in a finished ring you can wear or give as a gift. The instructor walks you through the entire process from measuring your finger and sawing the strip to forming the ring on a mandrel and finishing the surface with sandpaper and polish. All silver and supplies are included.
