Two-Hour Group Surf Lesson

About this class

This small-group lesson puts no more than three students with each instructor on the water at Rockaway Beach, where Atlantic waves provide a genuine but manageable learning environment for first-timers. Instructors start on the sand with board and paddling basics before moving into the water, staying alongside you in the surf to give real-time feedback on timing, stance, and reading each wave. A surfboard and wetsuit are provided, so you show up and focus entirely on the water.
