This evening workshop at Second City walks you through the process of identifying what is actually funny about your perspective on everyday life, structuring observations into punchline-driven jokes, and performing a short set in front of the class by the end of the session. The instructor is a working stand-up comedian who shares practical techniques for writing and editing material rather than theoretical advice. You will leave with at least five minutes of material you have already tested in front of an audience.
