Lake Merritt Boating Center offers stand-up paddleboard rentals on the lake for individuals and small groups, with a brief orientation from staff before you head out on the 3.1-mile shoreline. The lake's flat water and central Oakland location make it one of the most beginner-friendly SUP venues in the Bay Area, and the surrounding Lakeside Park provides a pleasant setting for pre- or post-paddle relaxation. All equipment is included.
