Cal Adventures' Sailing Level 1 course introduces points of sail, basic sail trim, tacking, jibing, and right of way rules in a structured multi-session course on San Francisco Bay taught by certified instructors at the Berkeley Marina. The course is open to community members and the Bay's consistent afternoon winds make it a genuinely challenging and exciting learning environment compared to a lake or sheltered harbor. This is a multi-session course. Non-student price is $75 for the full course.
