Knitting 102: The Purl Stitch

About this class

Building on the knit stitch from Knitting 101, this class introduces the purl stitch and how combining the two creates different textures and fabric patterns. Participants practice alternating knit and purl stitches to produce their first swatch of stockinette or seed stitch. By the end, students have the core skills to follow most beginner-level knitting patterns independently.
