Lead Climbing Certification Course

About this class

This course is designed for climbers who are comfortable on top-rope and want to learn lead climbing, which involves clipping into protection bolts as you ascend rather than being protected from above. The curriculum covers lead belaying, falling technique, reading routes with clip positions in mind, and all of Movement's specific lead certification requirements. Completing the course and passing the certification test allows you to lead climb independently at any Movement location.
