Clay Hand-Building Workshop

About this class

This two-hour hand-building workshop covers three foundational hand-building techniques, including coiling, slab rolling, and pinch methods, with instructor Tess Israelson guiding the group through each approach. You work with real clay throughout the session and build a finished piece by the end, which is fired and glazed for pickup after the class. No wheel or prior clay experience is needed since hand-building relies on manual technique rather than the spinning wheel.
