This baking class focuses entirely on French macarons, which are notoriously tricky to get right and almost impossible to learn from a recipe alone without someone watching your technique. The instructor covers the Italian meringue method, the correct consistency for the batter (macaronage), how to pipe shells evenly, how to tell when they are rested and ready to bake, and how to fill and sandwich them. You leave with a box of macarons you made yourself and a solid understanding of where things typically go wrong.
