Starlite Ballroom's East Coast swing class covers the six-count basic, triple step, and four beginner patterns in an hour-long group session where the instructor explains the mechanics of lead and follow in partner dancing at a pace appropriate for people who have never danced before. The format uses partner rotation so you practice with multiple people rather than working with just one partner throughout. No experience or partner required.
