Glassblowing 101: Weekend Beginner Workshop (2 Days)

A two-day weekend workshop for complete beginners covering how to gather molten glass from the furnace, work as part of a small studio team, and create forms including solid sculptures, cups, and experimental shapes using color application techniques. Students work with glass at 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit in UrbanGlass's full hot shop, and all safety equipment is provided. Instructors are working teaching artists with formal glass training and years of experience guiding beginners through their first hot glass session.
