Wine 101: Fundamentals Tasting Class

BottlesUp!'s flagship introductory class covers the core vocabulary and sensory skills needed to understand and talk about wine with confidence, using four carefully selected bottles to illustrate concepts like acidity, tannin, oak influence, and regional character. The class is run in the back of the shop with a maximum of twelve participants, so every question gets a thorough answer from the shop's owner or lead buyer, who selects the wines personally. Participants leave with tasting notes, a reference guide, and a clear sense of which styles they enjoy most.
