Introduction to Woodworking: 9-Week Course

About this class

Chicago School of Woodworking's Introduction to Woodworking course runs over nine weeks and covers hand tool selection and care, bench work, layout and marking, sawing, planing, chiseling, and basic mortise-and-tenon and lap joinery, with each student building a finished project by the final session. The course is taught in a fully equipped shop and is designed for people who have never touched woodworking tools before. This is a multi-session course; enrollment is for the full nine-week run.
