Composition in the Field

About this class

A two-hour outdoor photography workshop combining a brief instructor-led discussion with a guided walk through a photogenic neighborhood to practice real-world composition techniques. Students learn to shoot strategically, identify strong compositional elements in the environment around them, and develop an eye for what makes a photograph work before the shutter is pressed. Groups are capped at five students per instructor, and the session is practical enough to produce genuinely good images during the walk itself.
