Group Surf Lesson — Newport Beach Pier

About this class

This 90-minute group lesson covers everything you need for your first time in the water: ocean safety, reading waves, how to position yourself on the board, the pop-up technique, and how to paddle into a wave correctly. Wetsuits and surfboards are included and fitted before you head to the water, and the instructors stay in the water with you throughout the session rather than watching from the beach. Endless Sun runs this at the Newport Beach Pier seven days a week, year-round, in small groups so the instructor-to-student ratio stays practical.
