Beginner Wheel Throwing (8-Week Course)

About this class

This eight-week beginner course teaches the fundamentals of throwing clay on the wheel, starting with centering and progressing through opening, pulling walls, and trimming across the full arc of the program. You work on a series of pieces throughout the course, and each one goes through bisque firing and glazing in the studio's kilns. Students pick up their finished work at the end of the course and leave with a practical foundation in wheel throwing they can keep building on.
