One-Time Wheel Throwing Class

Zerimar Clay is a small, intentionally intimate pottery studio in Hell's Kitchen, one of the few places in New York where you can drop in for a single wheel-throwing session in a calm, unhurried space. In this two-hour class your instructor takes you through the complete process: wedging clay to remove air pockets, centering (using both hands in a coordinated squeeze and lean), opening and shaping the base, pulling the walls up without thinning them unevenly, and finishing the rim. You'll work on your own wheel with continuous instructor feedback. The studio fires your best piece in the kiln, and you pick it up 1–2 weeks later. Clay, tools, apron, and kiln firing all included.
