Intro to Wheel Throwing (6-Week Course)

About this class

This six-week beginner wheel throwing course starts with the most fundamental and frustrating part of pottery, centering the clay, and works through the full sequence of pulling walls, shaping vessels, trimming, and preparing your pieces for the kiln. Each session builds directly on the last, and the instructor works closely with students in a small-group format to correct technique before bad habits set in. All clay, tools, and kiln firings are included in the course fee, and finished pieces are ready for pickup after the last class.
