Intro to Stand-Up Paddleboarding

Dogpatch Paddle's intro SUP session begins on calm water near Crane Cove where an instructor walks you through standing up on the board, finding your balance, and the basic forward and turning strokes before you head out onto the bay for open paddling. The flat-water bay conditions near the launch are much more forgiving than ocean paddleboarding, making this a good first experience on a board. All equipment including board, paddle, and life vest is provided.
