Introduction to Sketch Comedy Writing

This workshop at Second City Training Center focuses on writing sketch comedy from scratch, covering the mechanics of a two-person sketch, how to set up a premise so an audience is invested before the jokes start, and how to find the game within a scene and heighten it across multiple beats. The instructor brings working examples from real sketch shows and guides participants through writing and reading scenes aloud with feedback. No prior writing experience is required.
