Intro to Clay: 6-Week Wheel Throwing Course

About this class

Clayroom SF's Intro to Clay course runs over six weeks and covers centering, opening, pulling walls, basic cylinder and bowl forms, trimming, and glazing using a class-to-class curriculum that assumes no prior pottery experience. The studio's 53 pottery wheels and 7 kilns mean every student has their own wheel for the full session time, and open studio access between classes gives you additional practice hours so you progress faster than you would in a class-only format. This is a multi-session course; enrollment is for the full six-week run. All clay and firing costs are included.
