Salsa Level 1: Drop-In Beginner Class

About this class

Ashkenaz's beginner salsa drop-in class covers the on-one timing pattern, basic forward-and-back step, cross-body lead, and two beginner turn patterns in a one-hour group format taught by one of the Berkeley community's established salsa instructors. No partner is required since the class rotates, and the session is followed by live music and open social dancing so you can immediately practice what you learned with the broader Ashkenaz community. No prior dance experience is needed.
