Urban Beekeeping Academy (Full-Season Program)

About this class

A full-season urban beekeeping program running from January through November with 20+ hands-on sessions at the Astoria sky farm. This is a multi-session program: 20+ sessions over a full season. Participants suit up and work real honey bee colonies under the mentorship of a Cornell Certified Master Beekeeper, learning hive management, swarm catching, honey harvesting, and seasonal colony care. The program is designed for complete beginners with no prior beekeeping experience.
