West Coast Swing is a slot-based partner dance that works to almost any genre of music, blues, pop, R&B, hip-hop, and this weekly drop-in class covers the foundational footwork pattern, leader and follower technique, and connection skills that make the dance actually feel good. The class rotates partners so you get experience following and leading with different people, and the evening social dance after class gives you a chance to apply what you practiced. It meets weekly at Atomic Ballroom in Irvine and is appropriate for complete beginners.
